agp support in linux redhat 9

Hello all--

Could somebody please tell me if RedHat linux 9 is supposed to support agp by default ?

How can one tell if the agp support is properly installed ?

How is one to install it ?

What is your agp chipset?
If you don't know that, what
motherboard/video card
are you using?

my motherboard is asrock k7s8x r3
agp 8x the agp chipset isn't anywhere in the documentation.

video card is nvidia geforce4 mx 440

i'm asking this question because even though I installed the nvidia drivers, I can't get anything above 800x600
