When I first started working with Linux and the command line I found that it was helpfull to look through sites such as this one while asking for help. Otherwise it is easy to get lost.

Also I found this site helpfull for understanding what the BASH shell is.

My problem is along this line and is that I want to uninstall gij-java but can seem to find the package it belongs to. I tried using the rpm tool to find the package using rpm -f gij but I receive no such file. I also tried using locate command to find the gij file but no result.

Is gij a symbolic link/ alias or something?

Can someone just tell me where I can find the package for the gij-java.
