Unhappy after executing kexec -e ECU is not booting up

In my ECU running linux operating system.

in one scenario, i want to start the new system or jump to other area part of the code.

step 1: i am doing here kexec -e

Step 2: ECU is not starting up

Step 3: after instead of kexec -e we gave systemctl kexec. It is working fine.

can you please tell why it is working?

step 4: we updated the new Linux operating system to our ECU.

after that systemctl kexec is not working again. Can you please suggest any equalent command for Kexec.

Not really, since there just aren't enough details. You say "ECU"...don't know anything about it or the hardware, or what version/distro of Linux you're talking about. Since you know things work when you start it as a system-service, why don't you simply enable that service to start at boot time?
Code:
service kexec enable
(untested, and uncertain as to if it will work at all). Or you could also put a script to start things after the system is booted...where you do this depends on the version/distro of Linux.
