I friggin hate Linux because I have wanted to love it sooo long. Ok a llittle background.

I have tried many many distros and for whatever reason - low success. Call me what you will but I am soo pleased to have found what I think has been one of the stickier problems over the years.

Several Dell machines I have tried - only one IDE channel and fail to install - l forget the error but failing to access the CD at some point. Several other machines - same.

Well low and behold - installing from a CD on the other channel solved.

Why didn't I think of that sooner!!

Linux sucks so much better than Windows
