Advise on coding printer drivers in CUPS DDK


Hi;

Need some advise from experts that had done
printer driver developement.

as i am to do a Label printer driver for linux,

i search the web, undestanding theres a CUPS DDK available
for development;

Is it recommended to build one using the CUPS model or
its the only choice?

How abt LSB DDK?


After recommendation, some developing tutorial will be thankful.
