advice required on mod_perl v1 to v2 upgrade

Hi

I have Apache 2.0 on a Fedora Core3 system. I need to upgrade mod_perl from 1.0 to mod_perl 2.0. What is the simplest way to do this? I have found various pieces of information on this which outline installing both Apache and mod_perl, but in this case I only want to update mod_perl. Are they dependent is some way?

First, I would pour over this document to find out what the ramifications will be of switching to mod_perl 2.0. I can't advise you on the simplest way to update a FC3 system (since the package dependecy stuff drives me batty) unless you wanted to go the source route and upgrade to mod_perl 2.0 that way.

Peace...
