adobe photoshop in slackware
 
can anybody help me am trying to run photoshop 7 in slackware
i have also try the CS version
but i get an error that photoshop can't find plugins

i know that there is already gimp but that is the worst editor i have ever seen
no mdi form make it looks like shit
looks very like mess etc

if there is another program that looks like adobe or paint shop
does any body have a link ?
or does anybody know my problem ?

How about Gimp? It's a nice program, I think you can even install standard Adobe plugins on it...Yes, I know it has that separated windows thing, but I think it's worth a try...Can do almost everything Photoshop can do, it's a bit "different", so you'll probably spend a week or two getting familiar with where all the functions are, but...

Off topic: I've just realized I've reached 300 posts (this is 301)! Well, I should congratulate to myself :))) If it hadn't been for almost a year of being inactive, I would have probably reached 600 post by now :(

but this is not what am realy looking for
i have also try to install adobe under crossover office but that sucks to

i think that the best way is to use windows for adobe
and linux for the rest

i cannot miss adobe it's te best editor for me

that is just what what i totaly hate about gimp it does not have an mdi form
and it looks very mess
but i have installed adobe on another computer
i think that is the best way to do
