adobe flash_player install

I have downloaded adobe flash_player_11 on my Slackware 13.37. Went to find instructions for installing it and discovered:
1) it matters which Firefox version is used. I am using 10.0.
2) if flags indicator shows "sse" when I issue: "cat /proc/cpuinfo" that I need to use version 10 of flash_player.
3) and so forth.
Where are the instructions for installing which version of flash_player and do I need to download the current version of Firefox first??? Would FF and others be self correcting if I add current version of FF later? Wondering about chickens and eggs.
Thanx 4 UR help

Probably the best idea would be go to http://slackbuilds.org/repository/13...player-plugin/ and install the appropriate version (32-bit or 64-bit).

But, first, it would be a really good idea to update Firefox and SeaMonkey to the current versions. You can get those from http://ftp.osuosl.org/pub/slackware/...ches/packages/ for 32-bit or http://slackware.osuosl.org/slackwar...ches/packages/ for 64-bit.

Matter of fact, it would be a real good idea to download all the patches and apply them if you have not already done so (lots of security updates and the like in those).

Hope this helps some.
