Question Adjusting pipe width or yum's way of sensing it

if I do yum list I get it outputing to the width of my terminal window.

If I do yum list > /tmp/mylist.lst it defaults to something like 80 characters.

How do I get 132 or more in my output?

If you mean line length inside your editor, for vim its
