additional language Mandrake Or OpenOffice

I have Mandrake 10.1 as UK English and OpenOffice v2.0.1

What do I need to do to allow German to be used as well in OO.

Can this be done just in OO or is it Mandrake thing ?

Is it possible to then switch easily between the keyboard layouts like you can in Windows ?

If you want to have German spelling in OpenOffice you can just install the German OpenOffice dictionary.

If you want OpenOffice to have its menus etc. in German, you need the OpenOffice de_DE localisation installed.

If you want a German keyboard layout, you have to set this up in the configuration panel of your window manager (e.g. KDE Control Centre). In KDE you can assign a keyboard shortcut to switch between keyboard layouts.
