adding windows managers to kdm (kde 3.2.1)

how do we go about adding new window managers to kdm in the kde 3.2.x series? its a pain for me to kill X and then at the prompt run startxfce4

there is no sessions tab under login manager in kcontrol to add a new wm, any help would be much appreciated!

Current versions of KDE and Gnome use a shared sessions directory I believe - /usr/share/xsessions. The session files there are very easy to duplicate and modify to accomodate new WM's and desktops (try "Execute=startxfce4"...).

What distro are you using? On my system, the KDE sessions are stored in KDE-PREFIX/share/apps/kdm/sessions/. My KDE preix is /opt/kde but on some distros it could be /usr, /opt/kde3 etc.
