Adding text to my avi video ?

I made a video with my webcam and I would like to add some text below / comments during the movie (changing with the frame). This is not subtitles (no SRT file!).

Is there a way to do that easily ? (Frontend for text adding)

Thank you

I too checked that
but didnt find solution ...

Cool Hope this helps YOU. NOTE: scroll down to the 80% of file location. The text insertion is near the end of this detailed tutorial.

with kdenlive this is pretty simple. Add your video, then 'create text clip', choose 'transparent background' and add it to another video track wherever you want it.
