Adding Pure-FTPd to my startup

How would I add pure-ftpd so it starts up automatically when I boot up/login?

Thanks

NOTE : this isnt a detailed howto , its just a guideline for you

you need to make a script first to start pure-ftp
eg:
Code:

#!/bin/bash
pure-ftp    # the command that starts pure-ftp

and save it as pure-ftp.sh

to make it executable type : chmod +x pure-ftp.sh

then add it in /etc/init.d

then make a link your runlevel (if u dont know it ,its in /etc/inittab)
eg: ln -s /etc/init.d/pure-ftp /etc/rc5.d/S99pure-ftp

I'll try to follow that when I get in: thanks..

Hmm, thats real strange.

I just looked at my rc5.d, and its already there.

ButI still have to start it manually?
