Adding Mplayer to LiveCD Linux Distros

I wanted to add Mplayer to Live CD Distros or use them in a Live CD

I have downloaded the Mplayer Linux Package from here
http://www2.mplayerhq.hu/MPlayer/rel...0pre6a.tar.bz2

Method1
~~~~~~
Suppose i have Mplayer Linux build on my FAT32 HDD Partition and i have extracted the contents of the MPlayer-1.0pre6a.tar.bz2 on my HDD.
So when a Live CD Distro Like Slax,Knoppix,Suse,Kanotix loads through
Live CD i wanted to use Mplayer in it.
As the HDD's are mounted can i use Mplayer from the HDD where i have extracted it.
Method2
~~~~~~
Open the Iso file for the linux distro and add the extracted contents of
MPlayer-1.0pre6a.tar.bz2 to the Iso of the Distro and then burn it.

Now will i be able to use Mplayer in the Live CD Distro
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Please let me know how do i do it
Also are my above 2 methods can be used

you could do a regular install with all the software you want (mplayer, etc.) and then use the http://www.linux-live.org scripts to make your own slax-style live cd...

Thanks win32sux

Looks intresting but is there any alternate way.
I mean without creating a LiveCD from HDD installed Distro.

one option is morphix:

with morphix you don't need an HDD install, you can just "morph" the ISOs in any way you like...

=)
