Adding gmail to gkrellm


I would like to use the check mail part of gkrellm, how do i configure it???

I have a gmail account which i curently access through thunderbird.

In gkrellm configure there is the option;

Mail Fetch/Check Program: ????????????

what am i meant to do here? i guess i need a MUA, where do i get a really simple one, cant thunderbird do this for me?

right click on gkrellm, choose configuration, choose built-ins...then mail...then choose remote mail, and add the gmail info there...click add, then ok and you're good to go
