adding dictionary


hello my friends.
I was wondering if I could add persian dictionary to gnome dictionary for my ubuntu 14.04 LTS to work in offline mode or not.
can I do that?

it seems that the link you mentioned is some team-work on gnome Enviroment to translate it to persian language.
In fact, I need and offline dictionary such as lingoes in microsoft-windows ?
ARE there any suggestion at all?

Sorry I don't know anything about Windows. Since you know what you're looking for and I don't why don't you do a web search using the keywords that are important to what you want. I did a search using the words linux Lingoes Persian and came up with this: http://alternativeto.net/software/li...platform=linux
Maybe this is what you want? If not I suggest you do the search yourself. You know better than me what you're looking for.
