Adding Applications to a Live Boot Image

heyy, I recently tried out P.H.L.A.K. linux and loved the layout of it and everything, but I couldn't set up my wireless card because the distribution didn't come with Ndiswrapper preinstalled on the liveboot disk.

I was wondering if its possible to add apps to a live-boot disc image before burning it so I could add ndiswrapper to this distro's image and later use it when booting off the CD.

I downloaded an ISO editor to see if I could add the .tar archive to the ISO, but I'm not sure if it will show up when I boot the CD. Normally linux shows the filesystem when you view the "/" directory. Would I be able to just put ndiswrapper.tar.tar on the image and extract/make install it later on when I boot the disc?

And the question from before, it is possible to install an app to the image file of the live-boot so that you won't have to install it when you boot up the cd.

thanks for any help----Lofter

Okay, I've figured out that I can add .deb packages to the minimodule directory of the ISO image, but now I have a new question:

I'm on Windows right now, is there a way I can download the .deb package of ndiswrapper so I can add it to the image file? I did a search on google for ndiswrapper.deb but it seems I can only download it using apt-get, which I don't have on windows. Any links or anything? please help----Lofter
