Adding another Linux OS to lilo

I installed mepis on /dev/hda5

How would I add this to my lilo.conf...which is on /dev/hda3 on slackware 10?

Well if you look at the file /etc/lilo.conf, from your slack partition, you will see how a lilo menu entry is constructed. Make another one for your Mepis setup, save, then run "lilo".

PS I have recently switched to Grub. Once you are over the odd notation (hda0,2 etc) the advantage is that you don't have to run anything after you change the config file. Makes life a little easier.
