Question Adding another harddisk with preloaded OS

Hi,

I had a system that ran Slackware 9.0 on a 40GB HDD. It was the only OS on the disk. Unfortunately, my CPU (Athlon TBird 1400) conked off yesterday due to overheating. I ended up buying another system online today and that comes with a 80GB HDD preloaded with Windows XP. I don't want to get rid of it since it alos comes with a lot of handy softwares. What I want is the option of dualbooting into Linux (after adding the old hdd as a secondary master) and Windows XP (the new hdd remains the primary master). How do I go about doing it? The boot info on the 40GB hdd was written to the MBR and I use the LILO boot manager.

Install the old 40Gb as a slave then boot a rescue CD, drop to the recover console and do..

mount /dev/hdb /mnt/point
chroot /mnt/pint
edit lilo.conf
run lilo
reboot
