Adding a YaST installation source

Good Evening,

I was curious if anyone is / has the same problem I do when adding installation sources in YaST (SuSE9.1). Usually I try to add a local directory as an installation source, but after I do, it causes the 'install and remove software' to not work. Basically, when you try to click the install and remove button, it opens the packagemanger, checks RPMs then closes. This all happens in about the time it takes to sneeze. What am I doing wrong? I have been using rpm -Uvh to install packages manually, but I have quite a big database of packages that I want to add, and YaST performs that much faster than I could. Plus, I know that it's a user-error... Can anyone help me?

Thanks for your expertise,
Bruce

Yes, I have this problem too. Searching for a solution but found nothing yet.
Just to let you know you're not the only one.
