Adding a XMMS Input plugin

Hi,

I want to listen mp3 files with xmms under Fedora Core 4. The not so easy part is that I'm not root. I got the rpm and managed to extract the library "libmpg123.so", but I cannot make XMMS to find it. I've looked into the .xmms/config file, but there is nothing like a path for Input plugins or so. It just looks into /usr/lib/xmms/Input and nothing else, and the GUI does not allow me to add extra a library manually. I also tried putting the file in .xmms/Plugins, but it does not show even after restarting xmms.

Any hack you know to solve this? Thank you a lot in advance!!

you need the specific xmms-mp3 plugin which is available in the fresrpms and livna repos

Well, it's working now. I put the file in the .xmms/Plugins folder and it was detected. I don't know why it didn't worked before.

Thank you...
