Adding a java module to netbeans

Ok so I'm running Slackware 10.0, I have netbeans 4 installed and everything works fine. The problem I'm having is that I can not for the life of me figure out how to add a module. Specifically the sshtools module. When i download it, it comes with just the source and a build.xml file.
After reading the README
it turns out i need to build the source into beans with apache ANT.

I build the beans and now I don't know what to do with them. I have tried adding the beans and the source to the libraries and to the development platform but to no avail.

Can someone please help me with some step by step instructions on how to add a 3rd party module from source + build.xml into netbeans 4.0?

Any help is appreciated.

edit: Oops, by beans i mean .jar files
