Add/Remove Programs problem

When I installed Red Hat on my laptop, I forgot to install my CCs. I want to go back and install these packages now, but the Add/Remove program utility says that it cannot find certain packages that are required(ossl and something like krdb). The odd thing is that I get this message no matter what packages I try to install, even if I try to install the ossl and krdb packages alone.

Does anyone have any idea what the problem may be?

Also, if there is no hope of getting this fixed, is there another way to install compiler packages?

Thanks a lot!

well, you could always boot from the installation cd, then sellect the 'upgrade' option instead of the 'new install option, and select all of the 'development' and 'kernel development' packages to upgrade/modify then just follow the instructions, i've done that a few times

Another option would be to grab the missing RPMs from Red Hat or their originators. Start with OpenSSL: http://www.openssl.org .
