Add fonts
I downloading some fonts in slackware 9.1. I am wondering if when I went to the control center and went under install fonts if that is all I have to do is add those to the list.?

Just copy the fonts you want to install to your ~/.fonts directory (create it if it doesn't exist), run fc-cache -v (as yourself, not root) and you should be able to use them. For more information you should read this, and if you want to disable anti aliasing for any fonts you can follow the instructions regarding the ~/.fonts.conf file on that page.
