Add existing virtual machines


I have dual boot Windows XP and Ubuntu 8.04
I install vmware server 2.01 on ubuntu and i wanna import some existing vmware images witch are stored on FAT32 partition of windows.Does anyone know how to run it from there?
I cant copy them on Ubuntu becose i left a little space for Ubuntu system.

As long as the mount point is mounted as writable you should be able to add them through the interface (open, browse) w/o problems. You could also start it from the commandline like 'vmware-cmd /path/to/mountedpartition/location/of/existingimage.vmx start' (I still run VMware server 1.*) and access it like you would usually from a local or web interface, SSH or VNC.

If i try to add virtual machine to the inventory i cant search trough any folders,and outside of vmware i can acces to all windows and linux partitions
