AdBlock Plus doesn't work

I got AdBlock Plus Firefox add-on (I had used it before), selected EasyList USA, but it just doesn't block ads and doesn't show the "block" tab on them.

Yes.

I have these addons installed, if that helps:

1-Click YouTube Video Downloader 1.1 (So I don't have to mess with Flash)
Adblock Plus 1.1.1 (Blocks content whose URLs match a list of ad websites)
Tab Mix Plus 0.3.8.2 (Allows me to have multiple rows of tabs instead of scrolling, adds a progress bar to each tab)

Check that you have it enabled - there's a tick-box option if you click on the drop-down arrow.

Just to be safe here, do you have a Red Stop Sign or a Green Circle to the right of the search bar?

If its a green circle, adblock is disabled. Right-click and enable it

If there is nothing, try moving your firefox profile, and starting a new one. Something may have gotten broken.

I do have the icon. I set it to show up in the statusbar instead of the toolbar like I did before because it's less obtrusive that way. But I still get the same menu when I click it.

I see that the "Block" tabs actually are shown, but the subscription still doesn't work.

May be your subscription problem. Verify for the other subscriptions. If it is working then it will be automatically red colored.
