Actually a crossover thread to NS7
Since it seems there is something wrong with my SuSe 8.2 as it only gives results of "NO SUCH FILE OR DIRECTORY OR COMMAND" to any thing entered, I contacted the Suse Company 3 times, and gave them the key number. All I got back from them is it was out of date, and to give it to them 2 more times!! What a way to deny support, even after I hinted I would pay for a corrected disc, which they do not want to answer to!! So If Someone knows how to install NS7 for Linux from the CD, please let me know as soon as possible!!!

1. The CD needs to be mounted.
2. Check the README file. It lists needed versions of files, hardware, distro, etc.
3. Following the install instructions in the same file should install Netscape.
4. It may help to "su" to root for the install.
5. You will need to create your own desktop link. Usually /usr/local/netscape/netscape.
How much of this have you done already?

trying to install NS&
I have tried what is listed in the NS7 Manual. One individual managed to get it installed on an old disk, but I had to change disks and his instructions do not work. I had explained to him that I was going to be changing drives, and then, that I had for a total of 3 times. Anyway, when I get the Konsole up, the change directory command onlly brings up "NO SUCH COMMAND, FILE OR DIRECTORY" and refuses to install. The Linux is on the disk, as it was used once, successfully. It just cannot be repeated by me.

What exactly are you typing for the "cd command"?
You can also use the "ls" command to confirm the directory you wish to move to exhists.
