I have a problem with Acrobat Reader under Fedora Core 3 on Acer Travelmate 660 laptop. In the presentation made by LaTeX using prosper documentclass, the colors appear inverted, i.e., the background of the text and figures gets black. Then I need to refresh the desktop to get it right again. However, it happens always in the full screen mode, and I don't know how to refresh desktop there.
Under Red Hat 9.0 I did not have problems with the same document. Does anyone has some idea what the problem may be? I would be thankful!
thank you very much for the answers. I have installed the older version of Acrobat Reader 4.0 and it works. This was the version that I used in Red Hat 9.0. It would be nice if somebody could solve the problem with the newest version, 5.09.
Xpdf is a good alternative, only I don't know how to get rid of the toolbar at the bottom in the full screen mode. The other programs, gpdg or kghostview, have more problems. The former does not know how to execute the external application that I have embedded into the presentation and the latter was not able even to read the presentation file.
