acpid requires restart before hotkeys activated
 

Hi!

I am using acpi on an asus lc3800 laptop. I have some scripts which are activated by the silver hotkeys on this machine, but they do not work on initial boot.

I have to su then manually restart acpid to activate the scripts and then everything works.

any ideas how I can fix this?
