acpid, Is it possible to use ethernet to wakeup from hibernation[Fedora11]

When the UPS notice lack of main power a broadcast signal is sent to all servers/pc on the Ethernet. Is it possible to do the same to wake up a server from hibernation? That is over ssh remote

My scenario is like this:
- on remote server with F11 and running TV streaming
- Running VLC to stream Tv channels over HTTP(will be handle by OpenVpn in the future)
- Running ssh to handle channel change

Thanks for all info

As I posted to someone else just now, when your computer suspends or hibernates, it shuts down the network interfaces. So I don't think it can be done. But I don't know this for a fact, so take it for what it's worth.
