AcidRip output filesize too small

Hey all,

Never had to use Acidrip before. But I have an ISO (no original, 2.7gb) that I wanted to transcode to avi. I wanted to drop to 700mb filesize and set it at so. But I consistently get a file size about 240mb as an end result. I have tried changing the scale settings, to no effect. Everything else seems fine though. Codec is lavc or xvid.
Any ideas?
Thanks,

Regards

what's the actual command being run with mencoder? check the "ps axw" output whilst it's encoding, or open the drop down debug window and look in there.
