Unhappy AcidRip is breaking my balls! Need help!!

Hi all!!! (specially Acid)

I have downloaded the small program (version 0.11) and i followed all the instructions on the mini-howto on the webpage.
I have upgraded my MPlayer to 1.0pre2 version, and compiled it with mp3lame support....so far so good.

I open the program, cool, it seems very simple. I select the file i want to rip+encode, and here comes the errors....

1.- I cannot preview, i get sound but i don't get image and i have to kill the program because it hangs up.

2.- When encoding (if i do not preview), i get "Mencoder exited with an error code 139" (???) and the program stops....

I have AcidRip it in a terminal, and here is the output i got:

Argument "\x{2d}\x{30}..." isn't numeric in numeric lt (<) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/AcidRip/signals.pm line 163.
Argument "\x{34}\x{2c}..." isn't numeric in numeric lt (<) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/AcidRip/signals.pm line 163.
Argument "\x{2d}\x{30}..." isn't numeric in numeric lt (<) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/AcidRip/signals.pm line 163.
Use of uninitialized value in concatenation (.) or string at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/AcidRip/acidrip.pm line 259.
Use of uninitialized value in subtraction (-) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/AcidRip/acidrip.pm line 531.
Argument "\x{34}\x{2c}..." isn't numeric in numeric lt (<) at /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/AcidRip/signals.pm line 163.

Any help is more than appretiated, cause with dvd:rip is impossible to rip anything...
