Acidentally deleted /var/www anyway to retrieve it?

Just deleted my whole website by deleting /var/www

I did it just then, stupid story won't go into it.

Does anyone know if Redhat 9 has a file retrieval system at all?

Thanks for your help.

Don't touch your filesystem. Atleast don't touch to the partition that contained the /var/www directory.

Presuming that you are using ext2 filesystem.
Get yoursef a copy of
e2undel or recover and use them.
If you get no results, you can use lde (Linux disk editor) to recover files manually.

Knoppix CD contains all of these tools. Handy if you happen to have one of them in your shelf. You can burn your own, but (just to repeat) don't save it to same partiton you want to recover your data, or you might end up overwriting 600MB of the data you were about to recover.
