Accounting software.

Hi Folks,

I'm in the process of setting up a small electronics company and we intend to run as much as we possibly can with Linux machines. (Sadly we'll have to go with Windoze for code development as there seem to be absolutely no embedded software development systems. :( )

Anyhow, all the other stuff like mail, spreadsheets, word processing etc is now fine under Linux and we're developing a little SQL, browser based stock control system. One thing that I'm having a wee bit of a problem finding is an accounts package. I want something to create invoices, purchase orders etc etc. Somthing along the lines of Sage and something that will run with Pounds Sterling and Euros as opposed to Dollars.

Anyone aware of anything? I'm more than happy to pay for it. As long as the vendor doesn't charge like a wounded Buffalo! ;-)

Cheers,

Rob.

I know GNUCash is a great financing app... not sure if it does invoices though. can check it out at gnucash.org.

actually check that ... it looks like it does support small business. (copied from their webpage)

Nice one! At first glance it looks like it's the just the job. I'll give it a more in depth look when my bed isn't calling...

Rob, Rob...

Hear that? I gotta go ;)

Thanks again. :)
