account issue

using root is ok, but other user account automatically jump out after enteing user name and password, RedHat Linux 7.2 kernel 2.4.7-10. please help.

Log in as root and check log files for reasons why are other users kicked out.
In red hat it might be in /var/log/messages or /var/log/auth.log

Do the new users have a bash?
Cause if it's /bin/false then they get kicked
