accidently used wrong prefix when installing qt: how to move lib to right place?

Hi, a few days ago I compiled and installed qt from source (again). But I accidently profided a wrong prefix. I didn't reallize that until after the compilation of the library. I wanted to install it in /opt/qt-3.3.0 but I have the prefix /opt/qt-3.2.1 (I was following the installation instructions of the 3.2.1 lib when I was installing 3.3.0). I thought it woulden't be a big deal to move qt-3.2.1 to qt-3.3.0, but when I was compiling kdelibs just now, I got the error message that a certain qt lib was moved from the qt-3.2.1 dir to qt-3.3.0 dir.
I made a symlink called /opt/qt-3.2.1 to /opt/qt-3.3.0 for now, but how can I correct this mistake?

I think that one of the places where you need to correct the mistake is probably /etc/ld.so.conf

I looked through /usr/lib/pkgconfig and I don't think that Qt has any entries there.

You probably have to change /etc/profile.d/qt.csh and /etc/profile.d/qt.sh to set QTDIR correctly. At least that is where QTDIR is set in Fedora.

i just symlink qt to qt-x.x.x
set QTDIR=<prefix>/qt
and put <prefix>/qt/lib in ld.so.conf

i don't think you'd have a problem doing the same.
