Accessing the kernal

Hi,

I am totally new to Linux, but I have read that the best way to learn about the linux operating system is to look at the source code of the operating system.

How do I access the code?

Im using Corel Linux Ver 1.

Thanks

Look into /usr/local/src/linux directory. If it's empty, install kernel-source package. You can always download latest kernel from www.kernel.org.

Waring: the kernel is really big. If you're not a really good programmer and/or don't have much free time I suggest rather a good book.
