Accessing novel Network files

Hiya
I went thru ncpmount man pages and some websites.
I am trying to reach - for which settings for Novell are
Tree- IMSU
Context- Mol_Para.IMM.Medicine
Server Stirrup_wimm
Now I put a command like this
ncpmount -S IMSU/Mol_para.IMM.Medicine/STIRRUP_WIMM -U userid -P passwd /mnt/novell/

I get error message Server not found (0x8847) when trying to find IMSU/MOL_PARA.IMM.MEDICINE/STIRRUP_WIMM
Can you suggest me where I am doing wrong and whatis the error or info I need.
Thanks

I suggest going to sourceforge and getting a copy of "Nowel" the open Novel client for Linux. It works well for me at work, although it can only mount one server at a time.

Hiya
Thanks mate.I have got ncpfs on my machine but I am not able to configure it though.
Any suggestions how to do it?

download the novel client software - this is a gui similar to the windows login (make sure you have installed the ncpfs software first)

http://sourceforge.net/projects/novelclient

either the rpm or the tar.gz (& follow the simple instructions)

you will get a login screen similar to that with windows.

you will find your folder in home/xx/ncp
