Accessing Fedora through Windows XP

I have installed Fedora Core 3, and for now have to do some work using Windows as I slowly wean myself off and try to go Linux. For now, therefore, I am downloading stuff for Linux and would like to take my download that I have done in Windows and plunk it into my "Desktop" in Fedora. Is there an application that can do this? I got explore2fs becuase I thought it would do it, but it only sees the "boot" directory. I have read that I need to be able to have access in some way, but how can I tell it that I am the administrator? Do I know what I am talking about? Probably not.

Unfortunately, I am not aware of utilities for windows that will allow you to write to a linux partition. The general method for this is to place files on a fat32 partition, as both systems can read/write to/from this filesystem.
