Access denied XP samba shares

cannot access certain samba shares with a xp prof machine , can access the same shares from other machines. i gathered it's machine spesific and have been trying to find a solution , but seems there's only help out there for xp home ed.

did make sure under local policy settings>security that blank passwords are accepted and the personal firewall is disable under xp.

any other suggestions?

ta in advance
