im using ftpd for my debian box, and i want to ask a few questions about the config:
I got two partitions, one on 50gb with the distro on, and 150 mounted as /srv.
I have made some kind of link between my home folder and a folder called /srv/www/ so when i put a file in /srv/www/, im able to see it in my root folder on the ftp server.
i have chmodded /srv/www/ 755, but i cant upload anything to this folder. Are there anyone who can give me some few good adwises on my configuration file, how it should look?
Depending on the ftpd server daemon your using, you'll probably need to pass some kind of FollowSymlinks option in the config... if you give us more details on what daemon your actually using, like proftpd or vsftpd.. etc.. it helps tremendously.
