Unhappy abiword

I've spent the last few hours typing some college work in abiword, when i was finished i saved the file as a '.doc' but now when i try to open it, it asks me for a password.. i'm so screwed because this is due tomorrow, if anybody knows how to fix this? thanks

Never used abiword. But, did you try your login password?

login password doesn't work, I'm going to start over, thanks for the reply anyway.

Never used abiword
don't use it, ever... no, I'm just joking, abiword is nice, whatever went wrong was probably my fault or maybe it just doesn't like .doc files.
