.aac?
I am going to buy a cheap like 200mhz thinkpad off fo ebay and get a infared remote for it and some speakers an basically haev a mp3 server for my living room. I will also be interfacing ti with my xbox but anyways. I buy music off of itunes and I was just going to throw a linux distrubtion on there and go from there. Problem is I dont know of an app for linux that plays .aac and at that drm acc's.
Edit: oh yeah i think ill put fedora core 3 on there. and it will be hooked up to the network and get the itunes music through that probably so any solutions for that? |
You can't play drm'd music from iTunes on Linux. Unless, of course, you burn them to a cd and then rip them back to your Linux box. You can play aac files on Linux. Just install faad2 and the faad2-xmms plugins for the xmms music player and you'll be all set.
Also, mplayer will play aac if you have the w32 codecs installed. |
