Question a2ps: How to configure A4?

Hi there!

I like working on paper. So I use a2ps quite often to print something on my A4 laser printer. But the printout looks like a2ps thinks the medium is letter size.

How can I make a2ps print right? 'a2ps --help' and 'man a2ps' didn't help.

TIA

Gregor

A web search got me to this pretty quickly.

It says that the a2ps default is A4, so one has to wonder what's been changed (admittedly, maybe by the repo or distro installation; not necessarily by the OP)

Suggest going through that page. It's talking about what to change to NOT use A4, so you'll probably have to do some interpolation to figure out what to "undo"

Thank you! the --media option did it.

I think I did a mistake when fiddling around with my printer.

You're welcome. It would have been helpful to know you'd been "fiddling around with [your] printer"...

Also, Just so you know, I found that link by putting a2ps a4 into DuckDuckGo...it or Google is your friend.
