A Tough Question about CD images

Hi,

I'm trying to work out how to make a CD image equivalent to one produced with CloneCD with Subchannel Data selected.

Is anyone clever enough to know how this would work?

(I have looked at cdrdao which says it copies subchannel data but I don't know how to convert it into the same form as CloneCD images.)

What is CloneCD? Are "CloneCD images a proprietary format? and what features of CloneCD would you like to find in another app? Would something like K3b do the trick? It's a bit hard to answer with so little info.
Cheers,
jdk
