A software update server for Linux? Is there one out there?

We have a Lab and we need a SUS for linux so we don't have to download the updates 30 times and use up all of our bandwidth. Does anyone know of any out there? Please tell me!

If you use Debian or Ubuntu, you can use apt-mirror.

Here's how to setup a local yum repository for fedora.

As you can see, it's pretty distro specific. Do you have a distro in mind?

Look at the createrepo package. It is in the standard repo.
