Your question is very vague, please provide adequate information, so people can help you, and write clearly.

"help me parsing databases"...what "databases"?? What platform? How much data? How do you want to parse it? Do you want to go from one DB to another? DB to flat-file? What????? Give detals.

"draw graphics"....what kind of graphics? How? Web page? Dedicated application? What??? Give details.

You also need to provide what version/distro of Linux you're running....

excuse me for the lack of information,

In fact I would like to analyse two tables from a mysql database according to colomn values that I'll decide ...
(like excel but for database stuff)
example: how is rising a percentage (colomn "percent") in function of the number of row adds (colomn "id")
I looking for something as powerful as excel to parse my data.
What I want is to draw graphics that I could print or save in pdf/html/etc format so that I'll be able to show them
thanks to OpenOffice, for example.
I'm looking for a binary software that I could use in offline mode after having downloaded the content of my entire database to analyse the tables. But if it exists such a software written in php .... there is no problem.
And I'm running a Mandriva distrib (2009)

thanks,

If I understand(?), you'd just do a SELECT out to a file as csv (see 'tee' cmd http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/...-commands.html) or 'SELECT ... INTO OUTFILE 'file_name' : http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.0/en/select.html) and then import into the OO Spreadsheet (equiv of Excel)..
