Yeah mandrake 10.1
Xine just said that it didn't have the codecs to play it.

I'm not sure what version of Mplayer I got in root I just typed "urpmi mplayer" and it installed it I assume its the most reacent version, and from what I saw it said it was going to install it looks like it grabbed every codex pack, and installed them.

So xine worked fine, all you had to do was install win32 codecs or if you had them installed configure xine so that it knew where they were located.

Totem plays WMV's quite well...
