A problem with Tomcat 5 on Linux


Hi everyones,
I have Tomcat 5 on Linux ( FC 4).
When I start Tomcat 5, and then I open my browser with an address : 'http://localhost:8080/ROOT/index.jsp', and an error be appeared :'The connection was refused when attamping to contact localhost:8080'.
What does it want ?

do you have that port open on your firewall ?

No, I don't connect to Internet ,

No, I don't connect to Internet , I only use localhost.
