A problem about the software "Tripwire"

Using Tripwire as intrusion detection is great. This is what I heard from others. However, I find that I need a good "config file" (I don't know how to call it, may be "rule file"?) in order for Tripwire to be meaningful.

I am using Ubuntu7.10, I found the default config file very unsuitable for me. Many path and system files' names are different. Do anyone have a proper config file for Ubuntu?

Thank you!

Use aide instead. Same functionality, with great rule-sets for
deb/buntu .....

Cheers,
